Wow! Allah is the one and only God in Islam, and it’s believed that the name is a contraction of al-Ilāh, which means “the God”. It’s even been traced back to the earliest Semitic writings where god was referred to as il, el or eloah - which you can find in the Hebrew Bible. Pretty cool!

Jihad: Jihad is an Arabic word meaning “struggle” or “striving” which can refer to any effort made by an individual or group to improve their spiritual standing with Allah or their society at large.
God is real in Islam - there’s no doubt about it! It’s a core belief of the faith, and something that Muslims take very seriously.
