Seven Nations: Joshua was instructed to divide the land among the seven nations of Israel, which were the tribes of Reuben, Gad, Asher, Zebulun, Issachar, Manasseh and Benjamin.

Final Instructions: Before his death at age 110 years old (Joshua 24), he gave final instructions to all twelve tribes on how they should live faithfully before God and serve Him faithfully throughout their lives in Canaan (Deuteronomy 27-30).
