Oh man, talk about a shocker! Killing off Thor? Who would’ve thought it? I mean, the God of Thunder was an icon. But that’s what happened - Thor got killed off. It’s like a punch to the gut, right? I mean, we all knew he was powerful but no one expected this. It’s like they just took him out with one fell swoop. Unbelievable!
What Killed The God Thor? [Solved]
Well, Thor’s pretty much doomed to bite the dust at Ragnarök, the end of days. But before he goes, he’ll take out the big bad serpent with his trusty hammer Mjollnir. Unfortunately, it’ll be too late for him and he’ll succumb to its poison. His sons Magni and Modi will make it through though - along with a few other gods - and they’ll inherit his . . .
Mjolnir: Mjolnir is the hammer of Thor, the Norse god of thunder. It was used by Thor to channel his power and was capable of destroying mountains with a single strike. In Marvel Comics, it was destroyed by Hela, the goddess of death, when she killed Thor in battle.
Ragnarok: Ragnarok is a prophesied event in Norse mythology that will bring about the end of the world as we know it and usher in a new age for gods and mortals alike. In Marvel Comics, this event was triggered when Hela killed Thor and unleashed her forces on Asgard.
Hela: Hela is a powerful Asgardian goddess who rules over death and destruction in Norse mythology. She is also known as “The Goddess of Death” or “The Mistress of Death”. In Marvel Comics, she killed Thor during Ragnarok and took control over Asgard until her defeat at the hands of Odin’s son Balder.
Odin: Odin is the king of Asgard in Norse mythology and father to both Thor and Loki (the trickster god). He gave up his eye to gain knowledge from Mimir’s Well which allowed him to see into all realms including those beyond death itself - making him one of the most powerful gods in existence! In Marvel Comics he attempted to stop Hela from killing his son but failed due to her immense power levels which were greater than even his own!
Thor was killed, but he’s a god so it’s not like he stayed dead. He got resurrected and is back in action! It’s crazy how powerful he is - no one can kill him for good. Talk about a comeback!
